Devi Sri Prasad, a well-known music manager in South Indian Film Industry is born on 2nd August 1982 at Vedurupaka, a little village in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh and afterwards moved to Chennai along with his dad & famous author Satyanand Naa Songs.
Devi began his career as a musician with his debut album “Dance Party”. Afterwards M.S.Raju has awarded him an opportunity to write music for his movie “DEVI” in 1999 that was a significant success. However, he got into lime light with his second film “Anandam” that was a huge hit at that moment.
Devi Sri Prasad also write lyrics to the songs he had been writing for example “Vecha Vechaga at Vamsi, Premante Emitante at Anandam, Chaila Chaila at Shankar Dada MBBS” etc…
He was a really major fan of “Maestro” Ilayaraja and also a disciple of the renowned mandolinist, U.Srinivas who was also his Pro. He had a brother called “Sagar” that was also a singer. He sung a great deal of tunes in telugu, tamil, kannada etc.. .

Devi Completed his Schooling at Sir M. Venkata Subba Rao Boys High School, T. Nagar, Chennai. He studied around BBA and learnt Mandolin under the advice of U. Srinivas, renowned mandolin player for ten decades. He wasn’t so interested in Studies.
